December 29, 1997: According to a web page about DJ Quicksilver, he has remixed Enigma's The Roundabout. This could mean that this song will be featured as the long-awaited third single from Enigma's latest album.

DJ Quicksilver has also made a remix for Trance Atlantic Air Waves' next single, Chase.


December 19, 1997: Details about the new Trance Atlantic Air Waves single: This is once again a cover version, this time of Chase from the "Midnight Express" soundtrack by Giorgio Moroder. The single contains the following tracks:

December 18, 1997: The new single by Trance Atlantic Air Waves is called Chase.

December 4, 1997: A new single is on it's way from Trance Atlantic Air Waves. A 12" is expected in January, with a CD single to be released on February 2, 1998. The title is currently not known.

November 6, 1997: An album by Trance Atlantic Air Waves will be released on March 16, 1998. No title is announced as of yet.

October 9, 1997: Mambo Music and Virgin Germany have confirmed that there will be a Trance Atlantic Air Waves album at the end of this year, or the beginning of next year.

September 6, 1997: According to EMI music in Germany, the Trilogy box set now is not expected until 1998. Work on this box set is currently being undertaken.

September 4, 1997: Virgin in Germany reports that a third single may be released in the first quarter of 1998, but nothing has been confirmed as of this date.

August 29, 1997: Finally there's solid news about a new release. In November, a box set containing Enigma's three first albums will be released. Called Trilogy, it will feature the albums in the regular editions, ie. not the special editions. These albums will be identical to the original releases, with the same cover artwork. The box itself will of course have unique artwork.

In respect to a third single, there's still nothing decided.


August 19, 1997: A new name, a new single: Michael Cretu has released a new single under the name of Trance Atlantic Air Waves. The single is Magic Fly, a cover of a song originally by the French group Space. This instrumental was a hit for the group in 1977, and numerous cover recordings have been made of it throughout the years.

The new single contains four tracks, including Wonderland Mix, Motion Mix and Spanish Mushrooms Mix.


June 20, 1997: According to Mambo Music, Enigma's management, if a third single will be released it may be out in September and be The Roundabout.

[T.N.T. For The Brain single cover] February 17, 1997: The second single from Le Roi Est Mort, Vive Le Roi! is released: T.N.T. For The Brain. While the first single, Beyond The Invisible, contained no remixes of the title track but instead two additional tracks, this single is more in style with earlier Enigma singles. A radio edit, an instrumental version and a remix is what's on offer.


January 23, 1997: T.N.T. For The Brain has had it's released postponed two weeks, so the new release date for this single is February 17. This information comes from Virgin Norway, and applies for Europe.


January 21, 1997: The track listing of T.N.T. For The Brain, the second single from Enigma 3, will be as follows:

  2. T.N.T. for the brain (Midnight man remix) 5:56
  3. T.N.T. for the brain (Album version) 4:34
  4. T.N.T. for the brain (Instrumental) 4:07

According to this information from Virgin Holland, there will not be two track or digipak versions of the single.
