August 29, 2004: The Enigma web site is 10 years! Today it is exactly ten years since this Enigma web site was launched. Work started in May 1994, and on August 29, 1994, the web site was announced to the Enigma mailing list. It was the first Enigma site on the web - the next one would appear one year later. It's also the longest-running Enigma web site, with a news archive going back to 1994, covering the releases from Enigma's second album. The site has basically the same appearance today as it had when it started.
The web site originally had the address http://www.hsr.no/~joarg/Enigma.html, then http://www.stud.his.no/~joarg/Enigma.html from November 1995 and finally the current http://www.five.no/enigma/ from February 1998.
June 21, 2004:
After several postponements, the third single from the Voyageur
album is released:
Boum-Boum. The song
has vocals by Ruth-Ann and Andru Donalds, and the main version is the
Chicane Radio Edit. In addition there are Enigma and Wally Lopez
radio edits, plus full versions of the Chicane and Wally Lopez remixes. The
single is released in Germany, and is accompanied by a music
video.
