MPEG-Audio information
MPEG-Audio is a standard for audio compression that delivers very good
compression ratios yet maintains acceptable audio quality. Typically
you can obtain 1:20 compression, which is 8 kb/s for audio sampled at
44.1 kHz, 16 bit stereo.
How to play MPEG-Audio files
To play these files, you need a player. You should also configure your
browser so that it can play the MPEG-Audio files (extension .mp2)
automatically. Below are players for different platforms, from
