[The Complete Studio Album Collection album set] July 23, 2021: The Complete Studio Album Collection is released - containing all of Enigma's eight studio albums put together in a limited edition box. Each album has different cover art compared to the original releases, with the cover art being the same as the ones for the May 2018 vinyl releases, only this time with monochromatic colours and with black vinyl. The list of albums are as follows:

  2. The CROSS Of Changes (1993)
  3. Le Roi Est Mort, Vive Le Roi! (1996)
  4. The Screen Behind The Mirror (2000)
  5. Voyageur (2003)
  6. A Posteriori (2006)
  7. Seven Lives Many Faces (2008)
  8. The Fall Of A Rebel Angel (2016)

The eight albums are also released individually, along with a ninth album which is the 2001 compilation album Love Sensuality Devotion - The Greatest Hits.


[Sadeness (Part I) - Anniversary Edition - 30 Years EP] June 18, 2021: The EP Sadeness (Part I) - Anniversary Edition - 30 Years is released, to mark the original release of Enigma's first single. It is a 10" purple coloured vinyl, limited to 1,500 copies, with four tracks containing three songs from Enigma's first album as well as the lead single from the second album:

  1. Sadeness (Part I) (4:17)
  2. Principles Of Lust (3:23)
  3. Return To Innocence (4:03)
  4. Mea Culpa (Part II) (4:01)

The EP was originally planned for release on October 9, 2020, which would be close to the 30 year anniversary of the original Sadeness (Part I) single release date of October 1, 1990, but the release was subsequently postponed.


[Fantasy: Wild Boys single cover] May 14, 2021: German schlager duo Fantasy release the single Wild Boys (digital only). The song's lyrics are about the music of the 1980s, and includes a verse mentioning Michael Cretu: Ich kenn' all die Hits von Bad Boys Blue / Von C.C.Catch und von Cretu / Und ich weiß, die kennst auch du. This translates into English as: I know all the hits from Bad Boys Blue / From C.C.Catch and from Cretu / And I know you do so too. The song originally appears on the album 10.000 bunte Luftballons, released on July 24, 2020.

Fantasy perform the song as contestants of the Free European Song Contest 2021, representing Poland. The contest is held on May 15, 2021, and results in place 13 out of 16.
